Distributed generation technology allows creation of efficient and reliable systems for the generation of power and heat close to the point where they are needed. The high investment attractiveness and efficiency of distributed power systems is due primarily to a relatively low level of initial investment, fast phase-by-phase implementation, and full control over the entire supply chain, including the ability to sell excess electric power.

The practical implementation of the distributed generation concept became possible as a result of multi-year conversion technology researches. The key components of distributed systems — gas turbines, low-power turbines (of several megawatts in size) and microturbines (producing dozens of kilowatts of power) — have appeared on the market quite recently. Their prototypes were developed to meet the needs of the military sector as components of the engines of missiles, warships and aircraft. Today, only a few international companies have facilities for mass production of simple, reliable and relatively cheap turbines of these types.

Major advantages of micro- and low-power turbines are their compactness, environmental friendliness, a low level of noise and vibrations, load elasticity, and exceptional safety, plus the performance that is highest compared to other equipment groups as regards cogeneration (electric and heat power) and trigeneration (combined cooling, heating and power).

Thanks to the capability of operating on various fuels (natural, liquid, wellhead, pit gases, and biogas), these systems can be used virtually everywhere: in industrial estates, at new gas and oil fields, within town and settlement construction projects, as well as in the construction of highways, pipelines, at stand-alone administrative buildings, production plants, ski resorts, fitness centres and on other sites where there is no central power and heating provision.

To cut down costs, accelerate the supply chain and meet the specific needs of domestic clients, we have launched our own production for electric power plants: packaging of their components based on the equipment produced by OPRA and Capstone, and accessories from domestic manufacturers.
